Halloween Party
Halloween is celebrated in Canada on October 31. It is a day to mark the single night in the year when, according to old Celtic beliefs, spirits and the dead can cross over into the world of the living. Yorkland held the Halloween party for all students and teachers on October 31st, 2018. Most students and teachers dressed up to join the party. Two excellent horror short movies directed by the students were played for all students and teachers to watch. The students also performed the stage play named Beauty and the Beast. Each group was drawing applause for their outstanding performance. Then, the student council hold a vote for masks made by different student groups. At the end of the party, the students carved pumpkins. The students used imagination to finish the art works. We had a great Halloween celebration in 2018!
