Guidance

Yorkland High School requires guidance counsellors to provide individual attention and relate to students on a personal basis, providing ongoing advice throughout the school experience. Counsellors will arrange meeting and workshop on monthly bases to help the students to develop their course planning, time management, and learning skills.

Guidance Counsellors help each individual student develop a Personal Education Plan once the student admitted to Yorkland High School, based on each student’s particular needs, interests and specific entry requirements for the university or college of her/his choice. Guidance department also take an important role in reporting and communicating between parents, including student Report Cards, Student achievement and misconduct, to elp the parents engage in the student learning process.
